Our Approach
A family photo session comes with a lot of WHAT IFs.
What if the kids are cranky? What if Timmy spills a pouch on the way to the shoot? What if Ellie loses one of her shoes? What if it’s too hot? What if it’s too wet? What if the adults are cranky?
We know because we have been there. We are often wrangling our own kids, dogs, parents, grandparents, nieces & nephews etc etc etc. And, every time, we forget about the hassles and frustrations, and we look back and say “I’m glad we have that photo.” The future is uncertain, which is why we take the time to make a memory of NOW.
We can’t control everything, but we strive for everyone to remember their photo session as a fun time. We try to provide a light and organic experience with enough intention and direction to keep everyone engaged. After photographing hundreds of families over the last 15+ years, we know how to help you look your best—with techniques for posing, expression, movement, and natural interactions.

The faces behind the camera
We are a husband and wife team and one of us will be working with your family to make vibrant, joyful, memorable photos. Before our two kids came along, we shot hundreds of weddings together, developing a bold and colorful style and rapid-fire creativity in high pressure situations. Occasionally we are able to work together, but most of the time you will be with just one or the other.

Our studio is conveniently located near I95 and Commercial Blvd in Fort Lauderdale and our usual working locations are the beaches of Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and Pompano Beach.
